Our Program

At Michigan Heritage Horse Farm, we welcome both fine-type and stock-type horses of all experience levels into our training program. Offering Western, Hunt Seat, Saddle Seat, and Showmanship training, we cater to achieving each rider's goals. Our training approach is rooted in building the horse's confidence and trust in people while creating a bond between horse and rider. We work with each horse’s temperament and strengths to make beginner-safe horses that anyone can enjoy riding. Whether you are just looking for someone to lay the groundwork, or you want to take your show season to the next level with a tune-up, every training program is customized to the individual horse and owner.

Our Mission

Our top priority is creating a trusting, confident companion that will excel in your chosen discipline. We work hard to problem-solve behavioral issues and use groundwork and desensitizing to build the horse's trust. That confidence then carries over when under saddle, setting the horse up with the skills they need to reach their full potential and become a show-ready champion

Showing

We frequently show at local open shows throughout the summer to allow everyone to work towards their personal goals and measure their success through achievements. While the atmosphere at shows can be intense at times, we work hard to make sure everyone feels supported and has fun.

Pricing

Our full training package costs $1000/month and includes stall board, a 5-day-a-week training schedule, and 1 lesson per week
